CES 2026 can’t get enough of Roborock’s one-pass smart home cleaning solution.
Contrary to popular belief, January isn’t about overhauling your life. It’s about removing friction. The small, persistent annoyances that steal time and attention without asking permission. Cleaning is high on that list. Especially the kind that looks done but somehow leaves your floors damp, streaky, or mysteriously dirtier the next day. Just us?
That’s what made us stop mid-scroll when we met the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow from Roborock. Not because it promised more power or louder specs, but because it went after something most machines get wrong. The mop. The mop!
Why “Real Clean” Is “Roborock Clean”
Most robot mops push dirty water around and call it a day. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow doesn’t. Its roller-based mop uses a continuous high-pressure live water wash, so grime, grease, and sticky residue are lifted off the floor. Not redistributed. There are eight (count ‘em, 8!) active water spray features that continuously wash and maintain a clean surface on the roller, so there’s no dirty areas get clean, real clean, Roborock clean. Not worse.
The result is a finish that’s noticeably better underfoot.
The roller itself is extended (270mm), which translates to fewer passes, faster results. And thanks to smart edge reach, it gets within 10mm (think: width of pinky fingernail) of corners and baseboards. The places crumbs and spills love to hide.
A Mop You Don’t Have to Babysit
Here’s the part we didn’t know we needed. Maintenance that all but disappears. The roller flips open to 75° for fast drying and washing, the self-cleaning system prevents mildew and odors, and Roborock’s easy-to-disassemble design means you’re not standing over a sink wondering whose idea this was.
Translation: you press start, go live your life, and come back to floors that feel professionally cleaned. Without a follow-up checklist of maintenance to-dos. It’s like a cat, cleans itself.
Carpet? Rugs? It Knows What to Do
Homes are rarely wall-to-wall hard floors, and Roborock gets that. So the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow automatically lifts and dries the mop over carpets, while a built-in Beryl Light sensor prevents wet edges and accidental soaking. The roller is even equipped with a cover, enhancing the machine while ensuring complete separation from the carpet during cleaning.
Your rugs stay dry. Your floors stay clean. No micromanaging required. And it automatically detects the difference. So switching from mopper to vacuumer doesn’t take you telling it what to do when. It just… handles everything on its own.
Why This Is a January Upgrade Worth the Splurge
This is the kind of tech we look for right now. Not flashy, not fussy. Just deeply competent. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow handles kitchen spills, pet messes, and daily chaos with the confidence of something designed for real homes and real schedules.
One pass. Complete clean. Less time cleaning. More time doing literally anything else.
That’s an upgrade we’ll happily roll with.
Why the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow Is One of CES 2026’s Most Talked-About Home Tech Debuts
The presence of the Curv 2 Flow at CES 2026 wasn’t just about a product launch. It signals Roborock’s momentum in home robotics. The Qrevo series has consistently been one of the brand’s most popular lines with users who want high-performance cleaning without extra effort, and the 2026 rollout builds on that reputation with real, show-floor excitement and demos alongside other headline-grabbing smart home tech. (Like their smart home cleaner that can climb up stairs.)
Seeing this model unveiled at one of tech’s biggest stages reinforces that the focus in home tech is shifting from smart features to smarter outcomes. Especially solutions that save time and reduce chores without demanding more attention from you.
This year’s CES in Las Vegas wasn’t just a stage for concept tech. It was a proving ground for practical innovation that actually improves everyday life. Amen! And Roborock continues to lead this momentum, marking the first ever robocleaner with a self-cleaning roller mop and a fresh approach to what “hands-off cleaning” really means.
